There are many types and colours of decking available including softwood, hardwood, composite and sleeper decking. These kits are ideal for quick installation on flat ground where a relatively small area of decking is required. The wood is guaranteed for 25 years.

Railway Sleeper Decking
New railway sleepers come in dimensions of 2400 x 200 x 100mm and are available in either brown or green.
Reclaimed railway sleepers may also be used if preferred but the creosote and oils embedded in them mean they are not as suitable in some situations.
Decking Accessories
With your deck you may want to consider additional finishes such as balustrades and hand rails which is a requirement for any deck raised above 600mm from ground level. The two main styles to choose from are the American or Colonial styles.
