A refreshing new spin on traditional trellis, these attractive trellis panels offer a mid-way point between our Premier Lattice trellis, which provides more privacy with their small squares and the larger more open squares of the Premier Square trellis.
By placing the battens at irregular spacings we have moved away from a trellis with all squares or diamonds giving it a new look altogether and the effect is a pattern rather reminiscent of plaid or tartan, hence its name. They make a perfect airy screen in the garden allowing light to pass through easily, and when the sun shines through the pattern it creates unusual striking shadows.
As with all our timber products, Tartan trellis panels are manufactured from Jakcure® pressure treated timber, the frame is 45 x 51mm and designed for use with slotted posts (Jakposts), gravel boards and capping rails. Initially Tartan is only available in a panel that is 1.83m wide x 1.83m high.
