Jakoustic® Technology — How It Works
The Jakoustic® range is the UK's leading timber acoustic fencing system, engineered to reduce noise across residential, commercial and highway environments. There are two core variants, each suited to different levels of noise exposure.
Jakoustic® Reflective (up to 28dB)
The standard residential option. Interlocking V-shaped tongue and groove boards on a unique tuning-fork post. The flat outer face doubles as an anti-climb deterrent.
Jakoustic® Absorptive (up to 32dB)
Higher-performance barrier with a mineral fibre layer that absorbs rather than reflects sound — ideal for confined spaces where reflected noise could be an issue.
Commercial & Highway Certified
UKCA marked and certified to BS EN 14388 — suitable for highways, railways, industrial sites and commercial developments requiring formal noise compliance.
Professional Installation Required
Acoustic fencing must be installed without gaps to perform correctly. We provide sealed post bases and continuous panel runs for maximum noise reduction.
