Our Team
One integrated team. Design to delivery.
The George-Stone team is a passionate, multidisciplinary group of garden designers, landscape architects, horticultural consultants, project managers and construction specialists. Every member brings deep expertise and genuine enthusiasm to their role.
Our design team — led by our principal designer Laura alongside Kirsty and Ian — works from a foundation of RIBA and Landscape Institute planning criteria. Our builds are constructed to the exacting standard required by the RHS show gardens team.
Because we handle design and construction under one roof, there's no gap between what was drawn and what gets built. The team who understand the design intent are the same team delivering it on site.

Our Process
The Complete Journey: From Discovery to Living Garden
Deep Discovery
Weeks 1–2
We start with you, then your land. Site survey, soil, light and drainage — your answers shape everything that follows.
Design Development
Weeks 3–6
Options explored together, each iteration closer to that "yes, that's it" moment. A design that feels like it was always meant to be yours.
Making It Real
Weeks 8–16
The same people who discovered what matters to you build your garden. Every level checked, every plant placed with intention.
The First Year Together
Ongoing
Gardens aren't finished when we leave. We guide yours through its first year, ensuring everything establishes as intended.
