A clear boundary, well built, that looks the part.
Everyone needs a clear demarcation to their boundary and a degree of privacy is usually important too. Wooden fencing is probably the most popular option for this purpose — and there is a range of styles to choose from to suit every garden and every budget.
As well as supporting our local timber merchant Cheltenham Fencing, we are approved installers for Jackson's Fencing, who offer a unique 25-year guarantee on their products. It's a mark of confidence in the quality of the material — and in how we install it.

Featheredge Fencing
We most frequently install featheredge fencing as it forms one continuous line, unbroken by the view of posts on one side. You can choose to have the 'good' side facing into your property for the best view from the garden. For a party fence we can face both sides with featherboards so it looks the same from either side.
We can fit triangular arris rails or rectangular motorway rails. With rectangular rails we can attach a capping rail to the top to protect against water damage. All featheredge fencing is installed on top of a 6" gravel board — keeping the featherboards off the ground and away from premature rotting.
Fence Panels
For those who want the convenience of a ready-made solution, there is a range of fence panels available from the most basic Waney Lap to panels with curved tops or a tongue-and-groove finish. As a rule all panels are made 6 foot wide and come in heights ranging from 3 to 6 foot.
We can cut any panel to size on site to fit any garden length and will have a brochure to hand to guide you through the options available at any appointment.
Venetian Panels & Slatted Screening
For contemporary gardens needing screening around a seating area or a stylish new boundary line, venetian panels made from red cedar hardwood slats are an outstanding choice. Each panel is constructed on site so you can choose the spacing between each slat according to the level of privacy required.
As a hardwood, cedar does not need the regular treatment required by softwoods. Oils and treatments are available to enhance the natural colour and extend the life of the investment further still.
Trellis Panels & Climber Support
Trellis is available in a variety of square, diamond or lattice patterns in green or brown treatment colours. Panels can be finished in concave or convex profiles at the top for added visual interest. It is a popular option to add height to a new fence when extra privacy is required, or to support climbers and wall shrubs.
Trellis can also be made to measure if you have unusual dimensions — ensuring a clean, integrated result rather than an afterthought.
